Five months after her partner's death, Gladys “La Bomba Tucumana” reappeared on television with a moving testimony that left the LAM studio in silence.
The tropical singer spoke in depth for the first time about the last days she shared with Luciano Ojeda, the man with whom she truly fell in love for the first time in her life.
With her voice breaking with emotion, Gladys recalled the exact moment when she realized her reality had changed forever.

“The day we were heading to the hospital, I thought we were going back home,” she began. But on that journey, Luciano, already very weakened by the cancer he was suffering from, made a request that remained engraved in her memory: “When we were arriving at Fleming, he said: ‘Mamita, I'm asking you for one last thing, could you buy me some chips and a soda?’”
Gladys fulfilled the request without knowing that scene would become a farewell. “He only ate two chips. I still have the package saved… As soon as we arrived, he was admitted, his blood pressure was 5 or 6. He was already dying,” she recounted, with the rawness of someone reliving the pain but also the tenderness of that shared moment.
