The new supreme leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the despondent Ayatollah, is in a coma and seriously injured in a hospital in Tehran, according to reports cited by various international media.
According to these versions, the Iranian dictator not only remains interned in critical condition, but he is also unaware of the war taking place in the Middle East and does not know that he was appointed leader of the Islamic Republic.
Mojtaba, 56, assumed the leadership of the country after the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, who was killed on February 28 in an air strike. However, soon after that event, the new leader was seriously injured during another attack and was transferred to the Sina University Hospital, where he remains hospitalized under strict security measures
.According to a source cited in the reports, the leader is in intensive care while an important part of the hospital was cordoned off to ensure his protection.

The situation of Mojtaba
Due to his poor state of health, the new Iranian leader would be unaware of several recent events, including the ongoing war, the death of close members of his family, including his wife and son, and his own
election as supreme leader. It is not clear if Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the same air strike that ended his father's life.
However, a source who sent secret messages to an exiled dissident in London described the Iranian leader's medical condition as extremely serious.“One or two of his legs have been amputated. You also have a perforated liver or stomach. Apparently, he's in a coma,” say the international media, according to the source
.The source, who requested to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals, also indicated that the new Iranian leader is being treated by the country's Minister of Health, Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, who is considered one of Iran's leading trauma surgeons.
