Although the degree of the injury was not detailed, it was decided to avoid surgery and to move forward with a controlled recovery, considering his presence with the Spanish national team. If there were no setbacks, he would arrive in good condition at the tournament, whose debut for Spain is scheduled for June 15 against Cape Verde in Group H.

The decision not to risk it also responds to the sporting context of the Blaugrana club, which has already been eliminated from the Champions League and maintains a nine-point advantage over Real Madrid in La Liga, with six dates to be played. Even the coaching staff will not take it into account for important commitments such as the Classic on May 10.
