Amid uncertainty over tensions in the Middle East, FIFA will keep its schedule unchanged and confirmed the holding of the 2026 U-17 World Cup in Qatar. The tournament, which will have 48 participating teams for the second consecutive time, will take place between November 19 and December 13
.The youth World Cup will once again take place mainly at the Aspire Zone complex in Doha, while the final will be played at the Khalifa International Stadium, one of the country's most iconic venues and a regular venue for major international events.
In addition, the body that presides over Gianni Infantino confirmed that Qatar will continue to host the annual youth competition until 2029, as part of the new scheme approved by the organization to promote the development of youth football and increase the number of international matches in training categories.
