Amid the shock over the death of Ángel López, the 4-year-old boy who died in Comodoro Rivadavia, criticism of the actions of Family Justice is growing. In this context, renowned lawyer Fátima Silva issued a harsh warning: “Gender ideology came to destroy the family.”
With more than 36 years of experience, the specialist pointed out what she considers to be a repeated pattern in cases such as that of Ángel and that of Lucio Dupuy, and she assured that judicial decisions do not respond to legal criteria but to an ideological perspective.For Silva, the starting point is clear: “There is not much to legally understand in this case, because the resolution was not legal, but ideological.” In this regard, he argued that Justice prioritized that the child live with his mother, Mariela Altamirano, without thoroughly evaluating the conditions of each family environment. “Ideology clearly prevailed,” he remarked, while questioning the reconnection process: “The little boy was moved out of college, as if it were one thing,” he described
