In the middle of the Superclasico, Sebastián Driussi suffered a muscle injury again and set off the alarms in River. The striker was barely able to play 15 minutes in the loss to Boca before asking for the change due to an annoyance, which was later confirmed as a tear in

his right left ankle.

Although the definitive official medical report remains, everything indicates that the attacker will be off the court for at least three weeks, and could even stretch to a month if a higher degree of injury is confirmed. At the very least, he will miss a series of key games in both the Apertura Tournament and the Copa Sudamericana

Eduardo Coudet's team will not have its main offensive card in the duels against Aldosiva and Atlético Tucumán, nor in the international matches against Bragantino in Brazil and Carabobo in Venezuela.

In addition, their presence in the Playoffs of the local tournament is also in doubt

.

The loss came at the worst possible time: Driussi was going through a great present, with five goals in the last seven games and consolidated as the team's attacking leader. His early departure forced plans to change in a decisive match and once again revealed a recurring problem

The record is worrying in Núñez: repeated tears in the left hamstring, overloads and injuries that appear when he manages to recover his soccer rhythm. A pattern that is repeated and that once again leaves River without his goal scorer in a decisive stretch of

the season.

Now, Coudet will have to look for alternatives in attack, with names such as Maximiliano Salas, Ian Subiabre or Joaquín Freitas as possible replacements to accompany Facundo Colidio, while the club tries to find a solution to a physical problem that has already become chronic.
