The judicial dispute between Boca and Agustín Almendra added a new chapter with a ruling that once again favored the La Ribera club. The House upheld the trial ruling and the midfielder must pay $769,231, plus interest and court
costs.
The conflict originated after the departure of the player, who left the institution on bad terms after a prolonged internal conflict. The lawsuit filed by Xeneize responds to a loan granted in 2019 for the purchase of a home, an amount that was not returned at the time
of his departure.
After Justice had already been issued in favor of the club last November, Almendra's appeal did not change the scenario and now the obligation to reimburse the money with the accumulated interest has become firm.
Since then, it has not been taken into account again, not even during the cycles of Hugo Ibarra and Jorge Almirón, in the midst of a deteriorating relationship both with the management and with some teammates.
