Milei will travel to Israel and could meet with Netanyahu and Trump at the same event

President Javier Milei will travel to participate in the celebrations for Israel's Independence Day, between April 19 and 22, in what represents his third official trip to Tel Aviv since the beginning of his administration and in line with Argentina's new international position after the departure of Kirchnerism

The central focus of the State visit will be the president's participation in the emblematic torch-lighting ceremony, scheduled for April 21. According to information released by the Jewish News Agency (AJN), Milei received a formal invitation to take part in this traditional event

In this context, the diplomatic relevance of the meeting increases in view of the possible confluence of the main world leaders. The government of Benjamin Netanyahu has also extended an invitation to US President Donald Trump, who could participate both in the lighting of torches and in the ceremony to award the Israel Peace Prize

If Milei, Trump and Netanyahu would attend the event together. This trip marks the third presence of the Argentine president in Israeli territory after his previous visits in early 2024 and in June 2025

The strategic alignment of Javier Milei's administration is not limited to symbolic gestures, but is translated into concrete actions for national security and foreign policy.

In the context of the military conflict with Iran's terrorist regime, the Argentine Foreign Ministry tightened its position in the face of external threats.

On April 2, the Government declared Mohsen Soltani Tehrani, who was acting as Iran's chargé d'affaires, a persona non grata, ordering his immediate departure from the country.

This decision was complemented by the designation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization

by the national Executive.

Given the sensitivity of the conflict in the Middle East, the Argentine State also decided to uphold the existing protection protocols. The Government will keep the security alert high, a measure that was originally activated at the end of February with the outbreak of the

conflict.
