Córdoba once again positioned itself as one of the most important players in the Argentine publishing sector by participating, once again, in the Buenos Aires International Book Fair, one of the most important cultural events in the country.
With its own stand on the La Rural property, the province exhibits the work of more than 40 independent, institutional and university publishers, consolidating its profile as a creative and productive hub in the cultural industry.
Governor Martín Llaryora highlighted the strategic value of the sector, stating that “the cultural industry constitutes a strategic sector for development not only because of its symbolic and creative value, but also because of its economic and social impact.”

Córdoba has been participating in the 50th edition of the Book Fair, which in its 50th edition takes place between April 23 and May 11 in Buenos Aires.The continuity of this presence reflects a sustained policy of promoting culture, with the objective of strengthening both literary production and its inclusion in the national market.
In this context, the president of the Córdoba Culture Agency, Marcelo Rodio, emphasized the role of the sector: “Seeing the work of authors and publishers in Córdoba confirms the importance of this market as a creative powerhouse and source of employment.”
