The weather in the AMBA will take a marked turn over the next few days.
After a hot and humid Sunday, the National Weather Service (SMN) forecast anticipates the return of rains, storms and a drop in temperature in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.Instability will be mainly concentrated between Monday and Tuesday, when storms with intense gusts could occur.
Then, around the middle of the week, a change in air mass is expected, leaving more moderate temperatures and an environment closer to autumn.
Weather in the AMBA: Monday with storms and gusts of wind
According to the updated SMN forecast, Monday will be marked by instability in the City of Buenos Aires and the suburbs
.The day will begin with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of isolated storms during the morning. As the hours go by, rains could intensify in some sectors
.Temperatures will remain relatively high, with a minimum close to 23°C and a maximum of 29°C. The wind will blow with gusts that could reach between 42 and 50 km/h, reinforcing the feeling
of instability.
Tuesday with more intense storms in Buenos Aires
Tuesday is shaping up to be the most unstable day of the week in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area. According to the SMN and the meteorological portal Meteored, more organized storms are expected to develop, with precipitation probabilities ranging from 40% to 70%.
During the afternoon and night, heavy rains may occur in short periods, strong gusts of wind and even isolated hail.
