The message posted on social networks by the Colombian president revealed that even he has no idea who Kicillof is.

As part of his tour in Spain, while the province of Buenos Aires is suffering from multiple problems due to lack of management, Governor Axel Kicillof met with the communist president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro.

However, the message later published by Petro on his social networks revealed that even he doesn't know Kicillof.

In the post, the Colombian president referred to the Argentine leader as “mayor”, rather than governor, and projected him as a possible presidential figure.

“I am meeting with the mayor of Buenos Aires Kicillof, who will possibly be president of Argentina to get it out of its collapse. The unity of Argentine progressivism is fundamental for the world,” Petro wrote, in a message that quickly generated repercussions due to the error in the institutional reference

The drug addict Colombian president also projected Kicillof as the future president of Argentina, “to get it out of its collapse”, despite having been precisely part of the governments that were responsible for destroying it.

However, the message later published by Petro on his social networks revealed that even he doesn't know Kicillof.

The episode took place as part of Kicillof's trip to Spain, accompanied by a large entourage of Peronist officials and leaders, while his province suffers a serious crisis of insecurity and a collapse of the Institute of Medical Care Work (IOMA), the provincial social work.

During his time in Europe, the Buenos Aires governor insisted on his diagnosis of the Argentine economic situation, with false data and totally removed from reality. As he said, abroad “there is a collapse of the Argentine economy, with a fall in demand and the total absence of the

State.”

In the meeting with Petro, Kicillof noted that they analyzed “the challenges faced by Latin American countries in this context of global instability and the importance of building alliances for the well-being of our peoples, especially in the face of threats from the

international extreme right.”

In radio statements, Kicillof also falsely questioned the economic situation again: “Hardly anyone believes Milei's propaganda of success and stability anymore. Businessmen see that foreign investment is negative and that consumption has plunged.”

In addition, he criticized the President's supposed “theoretical ignorance” regarding inflation: “He changes theory like a jacket to accommodate every failure,” he said, despite having dropped it from 300% in 2023 to 30% in 2025.

Finally, the governor warned of an alleged international isolation promoted by the Casa Rosada and defended the need to strengthen ties with corrupt communists such as Lula da Silva, Claudia Sheinbaum and Pedro Sánchez.
