A situation as curious as it was unusual shook Manchester City in the last few hours. Rodrigo Hernández Cascante, better known simply as Rodri, came under investigation after several residents of the building where he lives in the center of Manchester reported him for the use of a drone near

their windows.

According to British media such as Daily Mail and The Sun, the Greater Manchester Police confirmed that they received complaints from residents of the complex and that they initiated investigations to determine if there were any violations of current regulations.

The formal complaint was made after a couple living on the 34th floor detected the device in front of their window and decided to contact the police through the local assistance number.

According to testimonies collected by the English press, some neighbors observed the device flying very close to their apartments while they were inside their homes, raising concerns about a possible invasion of

their privacy.

One of the residents of the building recounted the situation she experienced while at home. “I live with my partner on a high floor and the last thing you expect to see when you watch TV is a drone one meter from the window,” she said.

“My wife is very nervous. One of the advantages of living so high is that no one sees you, but now Rodri and his drone are harassing us,” lamented

another neighbor.

Other residents of the complex said that the soccer player was seen controlling the drone from the balcony of his penthouse, located on the upper floors of the building. Even some neighbors claimed to have noticed a flashing green light in front of their windows before the device returned to the player's apartment

The episode was also discussed among residents in the building's WhatsApp group, where some owners warned that the use of the drone could violate regulations related to privacy or air regulation

.

In the United Kingdom, the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) sets specific rules for operating drones, including pilot registration, passing a theory exam, and respect for other people's privacy.

So far, neither Rodri nor representatives of Manchester City have made public statements about the case, while the authorities continue with the investigation to determine if there were any violations.
