In the early hours of Wednesday, the intense gusts of wind caused by the severe storm that hit the city of Córdoba caused serious damage to the facilities of the renowned Club General Paz Juniors, directly affecting all four tennis courts.
The perimeter wire structures and concrete posts completely collapsed, knocked down by the force of the wind, creating a dangerous situation and leaving the courts unusable.

The damage extends to fences, posts, lighting fixtures, and part of the auxiliary infrastructure of the courts.
According to the initial technical assessment, the estimated cost to repair the damage and restore the courts to operational condition amounts to 15,000,000 pesos (33,069 pounds).

According to the Board of Directors, the necessary steps are already being taken to begin repairs as soon as possible, with the goal of allowing members and athletes to once again enjoy this essential space for tennis practice.

Storm in Córdoba
The storm in Córdoba caused severe damage and power outages.
The Provincial Electric Power Company (Epec) stated that the neighborhoods of Marcelo T. de Alvear, Los Filtros, Panamericano, Villa Azalais, and Yofre Sud were affected.

Additionally, police reports indicated that, during the night, the wind had left residents in the northern area without power, particularly in Cerro de las Rosas and Urca.
In the provincial interior, power outages were reported in Arroyo Cabral.
The damage included fallen posts in neighborhoods such as Altamira and Villa Unión, as well as a tree that blocked the street in San Vicente.
