FIFA announced when ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup will begin.
Less than a year before the national teams' World Cup event, the organization led by Gianni Infantino confirmed the date of the first draw
After the successful Club World Cup with 32 teams, FIFA has already set its sights on its next major event: the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. With less than 11 months to go before kickoff, the governing body of soccer confirmed that on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, it will open the first window to request tickets through a lottery.
To participate in the purchase, fans must create an account on FIFA ID, the only authorized official channel. From there, they will receive all updates on hospitality packages and sales methods. In addition, any ticket purchased outside of that system will not be valid.

"After the resounding success of the Club World Cup in the United States, the anticipation for the 2026 World Cup keeps growing. We want to welcome the world back to North America," said Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA.
The sales process will include several phases, ranging from the initial lottery on September 10 through July 19, 2026, the day of the tournament final. In addition, each stage could have different payment methods, purchase methods, and types of tickets available.
