With Franco Mastantuono's confirmed transfer to Real Madrid, more departures are also expected for the upcoming semester
River's present is fully focused on the 2025 Club World Cup, a tournament in which it will seek to be a protagonist. The debut will be next Tuesday against Urawa Red Diamonds in Group E, which also includes Rayados de Monterrey and Inter de Milán, and for Marcelo Gallardo's team, starting with a win is key.
The recent confirmation of the sale of Franco Mastantuono to Real Madrid is no longer a distraction, and now the focus is on sports. However, the transfer market also occupies part of Gallardo and the management's attention, as they are already analyzing possible arrivals and departures for the second half of the year.

Beyond Mastantuono's transfer, River could face more departures. Some would be due to offers from abroad, while others would be directly driven by technical decisions.
