River and Boca unveiled their jerseys for the Club World Cup
Both Argentine giants unveiled their new kits in partnership with Adidas, featuring striking designs, historical references, and prices that approach 200,000 pesos (440 pounds)
Days before their respective debuts in the 2025 Club World Cup, River and Boca unveiled their new official jerseys with which they will compete in the tournament. Both clubs shared their launches through social media, with campaigns that appeal to history and identity: "Made of Greatness" for River, and a commemorative retro aesthetic for Boca.
In River's case, the home jersey keeps the classic design with the red sash, but incorporates black details replacing the previous red, especially on the logo, collar, and front outline. The back features the inscription "Grandeza." The alternate jersey, meanwhile, breaks the mold: wide vertical stripes in red and black, in the Milan style, with white details and a retro style that has received positive comments.

Meanwhile, Boca returns to dark blue for its main jersey, which now has yellow details on the collar, shoulders, and sleeves. The crest also changed: the stars were removed in tribute to the logo used in the 2007 Club World Cup, coinciding with the club's 120th anniversary. The alternate jersey also drew attention: it leaves behind the traditional white to become gold, with the blue sash higher than usual.

How much do they cost?
The prices of both jerseys caused surprise. At River, the player version (Authentic) costs $199,999, with a discount for members that brings it down to $179,998. The standard model, for fans, is priced at $119,999 ($107,999 for members).
At Boca, the Aeroready jersey (fan version) costs $119,999 ($149,999 for the long-sleeve version). The HEAT.RDY version, identical to the one worn by the players, will be priced at $199,999. The women's edition is $109,999 and the children's, $99,999. In addition, the shorts and socks combo is also around $99,999.
