The presidential spokesperson Adrián Ravier led a new press conference on Tuesday where he reviewed the main reforms and initiatives promoted by the government of Javier Milei.
The announcement focused on the project to reform the Organic Charter of the Central Bank, but also included a summary of projects related to the protection of private property, the record performance of the agricultural sector, investments in health, labor training, and scientific and technological development.
Reform of the Organic Charter of the Central Bank
Ravier explained that the project aims to establish that the sole mission of the Central Bank is to preserve the value of the currency, eliminating the multiplicity of objectives currently contemplated by legislation.
The initiative also prohibits financing the National Treasury through monetary issuance, prevents the use of Non-Transferable Bills, strengthens the institutional independence of the monetary authority, and toughens penalties for those who use the Central Bank to finance the fiscal deficit.
Reform to strengthen private property
Ravier presented new reforms
During the conference, the spokesperson also reviewed the legislative package on the inviolability of private property that will be debated in the Senate.
Among the measures, he mentioned the reform of the Expropriations Law, changes to expedite the eviction of occupied properties, modifications to the Rural Lands Law, the update of the Fire Law, and the digitization of the Property Registry through a federal one-stop shop.
Record production for the field
Another focus of the presentation was the 2025/2026 agricultural campaign, which would reach a total production of 163 million tons across the six main crops in the country.
Record production for the field
Ravier highlighted that the results are due to increased productivity, the incorporation of technology, and the economic measures implemented by the government to reduce costs and improve the competitiveness of the sector.
Health, training, and technological development
In his presentation, the presidential spokesperson also highlighted the operation of the renewed Foodborne Diseases Center of the Malbrán Institute, the expansion of the offer of free courses from the Human Capital Training Center, and the advances in the development of the SABIA-Mar satellite, which will incorporate new capabilities for maritime monitoring, security, and scientific research.
A review of the government's reform agenda
The conference concluded with a summary of the various initiatives promoted by Javier Milei's administration in economic, institutional, and productive matters.
As Ravier explained, the reforms aim to consolidate macroeconomic stability, strengthen legal security, and create conditions to promote investment, growth, and job creation in Argentina.
