During an interview with Futurock, and referring to her lies spread in 2023 about a false romantic relationship between Javier Milei and his sister, the K journalist reaffirmed them: "If I said that and I could have been wrong, which I insist, in any case there's a discussion about this".
Additionally, Mengolini portrayed herself as a victim by talking about an alleged "asymmetry" and claiming that "the payback is a dangerous narrative", referring to the accusations made against her on social media.

The founder of Futurock radio had expressed her anguish in a message sent to the K journalist Nancy Pazos, while she was hosting her show on the C5N channel.
"This case is disgusting, they're going way too far. Well, that's it... I broke down, Nancy, I can't take it anymore", said Mengolini, who burst into tears, apparently affected by the situation.
However, far from being a casual attack, the reason for this virtual campaign is a statement by Mengolini in 2023, during the presidential campaign, in which she had falsely accused then-deputy and candidate Javier Milei of being "in love with his sister".
