During an interview with Futurock, and referring to her lies spread in 2023 about a false romantic relationship between Javier Milei and his sister, the K journalist reaffirmed them: "If I said that and I could have been wrong, which I insist, in any case there's a discussion about this".

Additionally, Mengolini portrayed herself as a victim by talking about an alleged "asymmetry" and claiming that "the payback is a dangerous narrative", referring to the accusations made against her on social media.

The founder of Futurock radio had expressed her anguish in a message sent to the K journalist Nancy Pazos, while she was hosting her show on the C5N channel.

"This case is disgusting, they're going way too far. Well, that's it... I broke down, Nancy, I can't take it anymore", said Mengolini, who burst into tears, apparently affected by the situation.

However, far from being a casual attack, the reason for this virtual campaign is a statement by Mengolini in 2023, during the presidential campaign, in which she had falsely accused then-deputy and candidate Javier Milei of being "in love with his sister".

"This may seem funny and stupid at first, but they've been insisting on it for over a week. These are videos made with artificial intelligence where I'm having sex with my brother, it's disgusting", Mengolini complained, even though she carried out the same campaign of lies against President Milei.

The ultra-Kirchnerist journalist who today complains about these lies did the same thing during the 2023 presidential campaign. "He's a man who lives with eight dogs and is in love with his sister", Mengolini said at that time.

She added, while laughing: "I made a description, I didn't make a value judgment. He lives with eight dogs and he himself says he's in love with his sister".

Far from apologizing, Mengolini continued with her lies: "He's in love with his sister and that's not right", she added, before mentioning her anthropology studies at UBA.

"At all times, in every culture and place in the history of humanity, there's only one thing that remains a taboo, it's the taboo of incest. One doesn't fall in love with or form a couple with siblings", she emphasized.

Some time after Mengolini broke down in tears when denouncing that she is the target of a campaign accusing her of having an incestuous relationship with her brother, President Milei reacted by sharing several posts about the topic.

Among the phrases he shared on X were: "How they cry when the payback comes", "If you like the peach, deal with the fuzz" and "Serves you right, Mengolini".
