After being hospitalized for chest pain, Carmen Barbieri confirmed that she's fine.

The host experienced a health scare that took her to intensive care, she spoke from the clinic and reassured everyone

On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 13, the news shocked the entertainment world:Carmen Barbieri was urgently admitted to the Zabala Clinic after experiencing severe chest pain.

The information was confirmed by  Estefi Berardi  through social media. She explained that the host was admitted to the coronary unit to rule out a possible heart attack.

Journalist Fede Flowers added reassuring details.  He reported that Carmen underwent lab tests, electrocardiograms, and an MRI. "She's fine, she's talking, although they decided she should spend the night in intensive care as a precaution," he specified.

Carmen Barbieri's health scare

Concern grew among her followers, but Barbieri's own words soon arrived. In a conversation with the show Todas las Tardes (El Nueve), she provided details about what she had experienced.

"I'm pain-free now," she assured, explaining that the episode began at 5 in the morning.  "It was like a knife stabbing me in the chest. That pain woke me up, I felt like I couldn't breathe."

She took an aspirin and managed to fall asleep briefly, but at 9 in the morning, the pain returned with the same intensity.

At that moment, she called her friend and secretary Melanie and asked her to take her to the Zabala Clinic immediately:  "I told her, 'I don't know if I had a heart attack or if I'm having one now.'"

The medical diagnosis and her progress

From the clinic, Carmen provided more details about her condition. She clarified that, according to the tests, her heart was in good condition.

"If there was a heart attack, it was very small," her doctor explained to her. Additionally, she assured that no thrombosis or complications in the aorta or pericardium were detected.

The actress and host was admitted to intensive care, under observation, but with an encouraging outlook.

"Everything is perfect," she stated with relief, bringing reassurance to her followers and her colleagues in the industry.

Just over four months after her departure from El Trece's screen, Carmen Barbieri will return to television with a new project. She signed a contract with  El Nueve to host a magazine show, thus marking her official return to hosting on another network.
