After a scare on air, a journalist announced that he is leaving América TV: 'I'm not coming back'
The journalist confirmed that he is not returning to América TV after suffering a spike in blood pressure during a live broadcast
Juan Etchegoyen officially stepped down from Desayuno Americano after being absent due to health issues. His definitive departure was confirmed on social media, although he avoided revealing the exact reasons.
Meanwhile, as he continues with his projects in other media, his departure leaves a void in the mornings on América TV.

Why is Juan Etchegoyen leaving América TV?
The host and panelist confirmed his departure from the show hosted by Pamela David. For weeks, he hadn't appeared on screen due to a health issue he experienced live.

A decision made in silence
In that context, one of his followers asked him on X (formerly Twitter) if he would return to the show. Etchegoyen replied directly: "I'm not coming back."

Although he didn't provide further details, he made it clear that his departure is final. The underlying reasons are unknown, but his health condition appears to have been decisive.
What did Etchegoyen say about his health condition?
In a video, the journalist reassured his followers and shared how he experienced that moment. "It wasn't anything serious, but it was a big scare," he confessed.
