Exports from the agricultural sector reached a historic daily record, driven by the incentive granted by the Government of Javier Milei through the temporary elimination of export duties. This way, they approached the limit established by Decree 682/2025.
According to data from the Subsecretariat of Agri-food Markets and International Integration (SAGYP), this Tuesday the Sworn Export Sales Declarations (DJVE) totaled 11.47 million tons, valued at 4.181 billion dollars. Of that amount, 80% correplied to soybeans, soybean oil, and related by-products, while the remaining 20% mainly included bread wheat and sunflower oil.
It should be noted that Milei's government implemented this Monday a temporary elimination of export duties on grain and meat exports. Through Decree 685/2025, published on September 22, 2025, a 0% rate was established for exports of these products until October 31, 2025, or until Sworn Export Sales Declarations (DJVE) are registered for a total amount of 7 billion dollars, whichever comes first.
