On Saturday, 55,724 spectators attended, the largest turnout in history for a rugby match in South America
The match between the Pumas and the All Blacks for the Rugby Championship held at the Mario Kempes Stadium in Córdoba set a record for rugby match attendance in all of South America.

The numbers from the match were impressive and invite fans to dream about the possibility of hosting another Pumas match in Córdoba in 2026.
It is worth noting that the Albicelestes had not played in the Docta for 11 years.
According to the organization, the amount of money caused by this match exceeded 60 billion pesos (132,277,000 USD) when considering hotels, transportation, and gastronomy.

Among the factors that could help make this goal a reality, Escribano mentioned: “The support of the Provincial Government, which is expected to be positive; the capacity of the UAR (Unión Argentina de Rugby) to bring the match; and the acceptance of the foreign rival team. Various scenarios and alternatives are being proposed.”
In 2026, the Rugby Championship will not be held and the All Blacks will not visit Argentina.
