The ANMAT banned throughout the country the use, marketing and advertising of 17 widely used hair products that were sold online without health authorization. The measure aims to protect consumers' health.
The treatments belong to the Emilse Alisados brand and were detected during checks on online sales platforms. The agency warned that these products have no official registration and could contain dangerous substances.

Why ANMAT banned 17 hair products The decision was made official by
Provision 1390/2026 published in the Official Gazette.The measure was taken after oversight tasks carried out by the National Administration of Drugs, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT
).During the checks, the agency detected that different hair treatments were being marketed on the internet without a health registration.
This requirement is mandatory for cosmetic and hair products sold in the country. Without this authorization, its safety cannot be guaranteed or its composition can be precisely known.

For this reason, the ANMAT decided to prohibit its use, distribution, commercialization and advertising throughout
