The ANMAT ordered the prohibition of the use, marketing and distribution of different cleaning products and medical supplies after detecting irregularities in controls sanitary ware. The measures were published in the Official Gazette.
The provisions, signed by the head of the organization, Luis Eduardo Fontana, also include the opening of health records to the companies involved and the notification to health and consumer protection authorities.

What cleaning products banned by ANMAT One of the
measures reached the chemical firm El Regreso S.R.L., based in Lomas del Mirador, after an inspection in which unregistered household products were detected. According to
health authority concluded that these items had no guarantees of safety, efficacy or permitted
formulation. For this reason, its use, commercialization, advertising and distribution throughout the country was prohibited
.
A health summary was also conducted against the company and its technical director, Guillermo Eduardo Julio Mendola, for alleged regulatory breaches.

2417/2026, the ANMAT prohibited the use of medical equipment reported
as lost.
This is a generator and connector cable for intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), from the Shockwave Medical brand, which was on shipment at the Fernández Hospital.

The company SIPROTEC S.A. reported the loss of the equipment and, given the impossibility of locating it and the lack of control over its condition, the ban was resolved
to avoid health risks.
Prohibition of imported medical devices without registration
Another measure, established in Provision 2419/2026, originated after an inspection at the company Soloimportacion S.R.L., located in the City of Buenos Aires.
During the inspection, medical products were detected without registration with the ANMAT and without identification of the responsible importer. Among the devices observed were:

The products, of the brand Gamamed Vascular Systems Inc., had labels without the information required by Argentine regulations.
In the absence of registration, its use, commercialization and distribution throughout the national territory was prohibited until their situation was regularized.

The ANMAT communicated the prohibitions to the provincial health authorities and the City of Buenos Aires, as well as to consumer
protection agencies.
