Governor Alfredo Cornejo inaugurated the opening of Mitre Street, in the section between Mathus Hoyos and the Los Pescadores roundabout, in the North Waterfront area. The project represents an essential step forward in the comprehensive plan for the recovery and organization of public space in the northern area of Greater Mendoza.
From now on, vehicles will be able to connect directly between Guaymallén and Las Heras, without having to go through the city center or the Vicente Zapata road junction. This will streamline traffic flow in one of the busiest areas of the province.
A comprehensive transformation of public space
The project is not limited to the new roadway: it includes sewage, drinking water, electricity, and urban design, consolidating a comprehensive transformation of the area. The project aims not only to improve mobility but also to enhance the quality of life for residents through modern infrastructure and high-quality basic services.
