Weather in AMBA becomes complicated again in the middle of summer. According to the forecast by Matías Bertolotti, this Thursday, January 15 will be marked by intense heat, high humidity, and the chance of storms at different times of the day.
The day starts with high temperatures early and a very unstable scenario. The key factor will be the time at which the storms develop, since that will determine whether relief arrives in time or whether the heat index shoots up.
Today's weather in AMBA: strong heat and storm alert
During the morning, Buenos Aires City and the metropolitan area are already recording 28 degrees, with a heat index close to 31 degrees. The environment is oppressive, humid, and with cloudiness in constant development.
Bertolotti explained that AMBA is immersed in a very unstable air mass. If the storms are delayed, the heat index could exceed 40 degrees.
The periods with the highest probability of rain will be around midday and the early afternoon hours, and then during the night. Showers and isolated storms are expected, some locally intense.
