Andrea Taboada surprised her Intrusos colleagues with an emotional live announcement, she will have a role in the series about Yiya Murano's life.
On the Monday, May 12 broadcast of Intrusos (América TV), an unexpected and very emotional moment occurred when the journalist interrupted the broadcast with news that left her colleagues and the audience speechless.
It all began when Rodrigo Lussich, the show's host, humorously recounted his recent experience as an extra in the highly anticipated series El Eternauta. With humor, he shared a video on his social media where he talked about his experience filming one of the most ambitious productions in Argentine television.

But the atmosphere completely changed when Andrea Taboada took the floor, visibly moved. "Guys, I have to tell you something," she said with a trembling voice. "What did you work on?" Lussich asked with a laugh, not imagining the answer.
"I'm going to work," the journalist replied, holding back tears. "It's the emotion. It's a small thing," she clarified, hinting at how important it was for her to share this news.
After a few seconds of suspense and speculation from the panel, Taboada finally revealed the reason for her emotion, she will participate as an actress in the series based on the life of Yiya Murano, known as "The Poisoner of Monserrat", one of the most famous criminal cases in Argentine history.
"I'm going to play a small role, but I can't tell you anything," she confessed, carefully choosing her words to avoid revealing details of the production. However, she made it clear that she is excited and already preparing for the challenge: "I have to learn my lines for the recordings," she added with a smile.

The news was celebrated on the Intrusos set, where her colleagues congratulated her with applause and hugs. Although the journalist did not reveal which character she will play or in which episode she will appear, her enthusiasm indicates that it is a very important achievement for her.
Based on the true story of María de las Mercedes Bernardina Bolla Aponte de Murano, better known as Yiya Murano, the fiction will recount how this woman managed to swindle and murder her friends with poison in the '70s.
