Tense live clash: Rodrigo Lussich exploded against Andrea Taboada on Intrusos
The host was very angry with his panelist for an on-air opinion and later apologized
Rodrigo Lussich experienced a moment of high tension live on Intrusos (América TV), when he confronted his colleague Andrea Taboada during a political-cultural debate. The discussion arose after his analysis of the ideological connotations of the seriesEl Eternautaand El Encargado.
The host interpreted that the character of Francella in El Encargado reflected individualistic stances, in line with libertarian thought. Meanwhile, El Eternauta —according to his reading— represented a more collective vision, associated with Peronist discourses.

An intervention that sparked the flame
In the middle of his reflection, Taboada interrupted him with a warning: “I don't think we should reinforce that divide there…”
Lussich reacted strongly and delivered a sharp response: “When you host Andrea Taboada's show, don't reinforce it!”
The panelist tried to moderate the tone, arguing that the goal was to debate ideas, but the host was already visibly upset:
“I respectfully tell you that I think it's established. If you don't like it, that's another thing. Don't tell me if I should reinforce or not reinforce something”, he added.

The back-and-forth remained tense. Taboada clarified that she was speaking in general terms and wasn't pointing directly at him, but Lussich doubled down:
“You're talking about something I brought to the table”, he remarked, showing his discomfort and continued: “I asked you to let me do the show I want, and the day you have your show, you can bring up the topics you want.”
The apologies that didn't go unnoticed
After continuing the show as if nothing had happened, Lussich asked for the floor to address his colleague.
“I want to apologize to Andre because I felt bad. I was also a panelist here and I respect all the places at the table”, he acknowledged.
The host admitted that his tone might have been inappropriate: “If it was interpreted as disrespect, I apologize. Maybe I said it vehemently because I am, I seem angry, but I wasn't. I have a short fuse.”
Finally, he assured that he could have said it off-camera, but decided to do it live to give the same context in which the conflict occurred.
Andrea Taboada accepted the gesture: “And I accept them. I didn't mean to disqualify you. I honor my place here, my work”, the panelist replied, after a show that was seen with much tension.
El fuerte cruce entre Lussich y Taboada.
