
Armed fake delivery gang operating by stealing in Córdoba arrested
They were apprehended after multiple raids in neighborhoods of the capital; they used backpacks and weapons to simulate deliveries
A criminal gang made up of three men was dismantled in Córdoba Capital this Sunday. The criminals pretended to be delivery app couriers to enter homes. They carried thermal backpacks, firearms, and vehicles prepared for escape.

The operations were carried out in densely populated neighborhoods such as Villa Cornú and 16 de Noviembre. There were also raids in Policial Anexo and Hermana Sierra. According to police sources, the detainees had kept local residents on edge.
The criminals used motorcycles and a car with a judicial order. They checked for the absence of homeowners before committing the crimes.

Modus operandi: delivery, cover, and long guns
The gang wore clothing and accessories identical to those of Rappi and Pedidos Ya. Their worker disguise was key to avoiding suspicion. This allowed them to approach homes before forcing their way in.
The result of the raids was decisive: five motorcycles and a Peugeot 208 were seized. Cell phones, backpacks, and delivery clothing were also found.
The weapons found include two shotguns and a revolver, which demonstrates the level of violence prepared. The police confirmed that these items are directly linked to the crimes.

Ongoing investigation
The case is in the hands of the District 3, Turn 6 Prosecutor's Office, led by Dr. Patricia García Ramírez. New measures are expected to be formalized in the coming hours.
The detainees remain incommunicado while evidence is expanded. The seizure of items was key to advancing the judicial process.
