The Banking Association confirmed a new salary update for workers in the financial sector and also adjusted the amount of the extraordinary bonus for Banking Day.
Following the last collective agreement signed with the business chambers and the Central Bank, the special additional amount has increased again and now exceeds $2 million for the initial category.

How much does a banker receive for the extraordinary bonus
According to official information from the union, the minimum guaranteed amount of the bonus for Banking Day has been set at $2,067,482.29.
This value corresponds to the initial category of the agreement and will continue to be automatically updated with the upcoming salary revisions.
The final amount that each worker will receive will also depend on factors such as seniority, role, and category within each financial institution.

How the last banking negotiation impacted
The salary update applied for April was 2.6%, based on the inflation index.
The agreement was reached between the Banking Association and the business chambers of the sector: ABA, Adeba, Abappra, and the Central Bank.

With this new increase, the accumulated salary of bankers now reaches 12.3% compared to December of last year.

After the incorporation of the last collective agreement adjustment, the initial banking salary has been set at $2,319,195.20.
