The mayor of Barcelona turned Palestine and Gaza into the city's 11th district.
The Socialist also confirmed the initial allocation of one million euros within the municipal budget
Barcelona's socialist mayor, Jaume Collboni, announced that Gaza and Palestine will be incorporated as the new 11th district of the city, with an initial allocation of one million euros (1,000,000 euros) within the municipal budget.
The delusional initiative, which is expected to be formalized before the end of 2025, aims to "continue humanitarian cooperation and establish a stable working framework with the Palestinian territories."

This new district will have its own structure within the municipal organization chart, with a manager and specialized staff, just like Barcelona's ten existing districts. The teams will work directly with authorities and technicians from cities such as Gaza, Ramallah, and Bethlehem, as well as with Palestinian refugee camps located in the Middle East, a measure carried out in support of the terrorist group Hamas.
Collboni made the announcement from a refugee camp in Amman, Jordan, where around 62,000 people live. During his visit, he recalled that several health programs have already been launched in collaboration between Barcelona specialists and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the UN agency accused of collaborating with Hamas.

The far-left mayor emphasized that the intention is not limited to providing occasional aid, but to developing a cooperation plan that covers both the reconstruction of affected cities and the improvement of refugees' quality of life.
Some time ago, during his official visit to Jordan, Jaume Collboni had announced that he was going to double his financial donation to UNRWA. With this increase, the contribution will go from 200,000 to 400,000 euros (400,000 euros), money that will probably end up in the hands of the Islamic terrorist group.
