F1 returns from its break, and Colapinto is already anticipating a Zandvoort with a special flavor.

Days away from celebrating his first anniversary in La Máxima, the Argentine driver spoke about his vacation and the Dutch GP, a country that brings back good memories for him

Formula 1 returns from the summer break at a circuit steeped in history. The Netherlands Grand Prix will mark the fifteenth round of the 2025 World Championship and a special milestone for Franco Colapinto: his first anniversary as a driver in the premier category. The Argentine, together with Pierre Gasly, his teammate at Alpine, is focused on scoring points and improving on their performance from the first half of the year.

"This weekend marks the first anniversary of my debut in F1. It's been a hectic year, with many ups and downs, but everything has contributed to my development. The weather is looking quite unpredictable, so we'll try to take advantage of every opportunity to achieve a positive result this fall," Colapinto acknowledged, expressing his excitement about returning to compete at the Dutch track, the venue of his first F1 tests.

He also highlighted his connection with the country: "The Netherlands holds a special place in my heart, as I spent most of my career in the junior formulas with Van Amersfoort Racing and MP Motorsport, both Dutch teams".

The Argentine driver used the break to recharge with his family and friends, but also to train for the second half of the season: "I enjoyed a wonderful vacation and precious time with my family and friends in the Mediterranean weather during the summer. I also focused on my training and physical condition, and I'm ready to get back into the rhythm and start the second half of the season".

He also spoke about the team and the upcoming races: "The team has worked very hard since the beginning of the year, so I'm grateful, and everyone needed a well-deserved break. Now we're focused on the last two European rounds of the calendar before a series of races on other continents".

After the mandatory factory shutdown, Formula 1 is focusing on the Dutch coast for a weekend in which the weather could play a decisive role. Zandvoort, with its fast, banked corners among the dunes, promises to be the ideal setting for Alpine to start the final stretch of the season strongly.
