Beast met at Casa Rosada with Abigail Dressel and Congressman Agustin Romo
The meeting aimed to support BESTIA's claim to compete in the BLAST.tv Major
The CEO of Bestia, known as PapoMC, held a meeting in the Salón de Proceres of Casa Rosada, where the Dirección de Comunicación Digital operates, along with his team, the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Argentina, Abigail Dressel, and the libertarian deputy Agustín Romo.
The meeting aimed to support the claim of Bestia, the Argentine Counter-Strike 2 team, to compete in the BLAST.tv Major in Austin, United States, the most important tournament in the world in this discipline. "For BESTIA to represent Argentina in the place it earned," wrote PapoMC on his X account.
The context of the meeting
This meeting occurs after BESTIA finally managed to obtain the necessary visas to travel to the United States and compete in the tournament. However, in a controversial decision, the event's organization had opted to give their spot to a Brazilian team that had lost in the final of the South American qualifier.

The odyssey began when two of BESTIA's players, Luciano "luchov" Herrera and Tomás "tomaszin" Corna, faced difficulties in their attempts to obtain the visa.
Within hours, the gaming community and numerous esports figures in Argentina mobilized on social media under the hashtag #ArgentinaAlMundial, demanding support for the players to represent the country on the global stage.
The situation reached the ears of the head of the La Libertad Avanza bloc in the province of Buenos Aires, Agustín Romo, who publicly replied to the request and offered his help: "Let's see what we can do," he wrote on the social network X.

From that gesture, high-level diplomatic efforts were activated involving the Argentine Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein and the official close to Santiago Caputo, Macarena Alifraco, who quickly intervened to expedite the consular procedures.
Thanks to the intervention of these officials from Javier Milei's Government, BESTIA's players obtained their visas in record time. PapoMC himself, CEO and founder of the team, publicly expressed his gratitude: "Thank you Agustín Romo, Macarena Alifraco, and Gerardo Werthein for hearing the desperate cry of an entire community and helping to unlock the most difficult step of all, the visas for the United States."
Although the management of the libertarian government officials allowed a national team to be ready to compete at the highest level, now the problem is caused by an international administrative decision of BLAST Premier, the tournament organizer. Meanwhile, the struggle continues, and Argentina hopes that the legitimate qualification of its representatives will be respected.
