Belu Lucius spoke for the first time about the illness she suffers from.

The influencer revealed that she was diagnosed with a condition that affects millions of women in silence

Belu Lucius decided to break the silence and speak for the first time about the diagnosis she received after undergoing a series of medical tests: endometriosis. She did so through her Instagram account, where she shared an extensive message with her followers in which she described how she lives with the disease and what implications it has for her desire to become a mother again.

"We've been trying for a while with Javi", the influencer began in the post, accompanied by the classic egg emojis that refer to eggs. Lucius recounted that, although her two previous pregnancies also required care, this time the path proved more difficult.  "It hadn't been hard the first time. Nor the second. Nor the third. But this one was taking quite a while", she wrote honestly.

Despite continuing to menstruate regularly, with cycles every 26 days, Belu noticed heavy bleeding and significant pain. It wasn't until she underwent tests for back discomfort that the first indication appeared: a fibroid. Faced with this finding, her gynecologist, Dr. Florencia Pablo—who had already accompanied her in other gynecological interventions—decided to deepen the analyses.

The diagnosis was clear: endometriosis.  "Something I had heard about here and there, without paying much attention", Lucius admitted. In her text, she highlighted common symptoms that many women tend to normalize: intense menstrual pain, inflammation, discomfort during sexual intercourse, and heavy bleeding.  "It turns out that many women have this condition even without knowing it", she added.

The influencer's revelation quickly resonated with her community, which turned to the comments with messages of support and gratitude. "How important it is that you share this, Belu", "The story of so many women, thank you for making it visible" and  "I congratulate you for giving this wonderful message", were some of the responses she received.

Belu also referred to the dilemma she faces with her partner: continuing to seek a new pregnancy through surgical treatment, or opting for hormonal treatment if they decide to pause that desire.  "I share this with you because I am sure and convinced that there are many of us going through a moment like this", she concluded. She encouraged: "If you have endometriosis, I want you to know that with the right treatment, the possibilities are enormous for you to become a mom".
