The company spoke of a "new chapter" and invited the community to closely follow each presentation. The idea is to share plans, content, and a vision of the future for the coming years.
Johanna Faries, president of Blizzard, indicated in advance that the announcements will reflect both the studio's legacy and its ambition for what lies ahead.

Blizzard made it clear that these events are only the beginning: throughout the year there will be more news related to its games. In that context, in recent days the rumor of a new project set in the StarCraft universe has resurfaced. According to reports cited by journalist Jason Schreier, it would be a third-person shooter.
If that title materializes, it would not be presented now. It would aim to become one of the big surprises at BlizzCon 2026, scheduled for September.
