Boca Juniors continues in the search for a "9" and the target would be Lucas Passerini

The Boca Football Council does not stop its search for a new center forward. The club's intention is to add an offensive option to face the double competition of the semester, especially after the physical problems that affected Milton Giménez and Adam Bareiro.

In line with what coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena expressed, the management considers it a priority to incorporate a forward before the transfer market closes.

Although David Romero remains the main option and Luciano Gondou appears as another alternative, a new name has emerged in recent hours: Lucas Passerini.

Passerini is under contract with Belgrano until December 2028 and does not have a release clause, so any operation will depend exclusively on an understanding between the management.

Although official figures from the negotiation have not yet been disclosed, both parties are optimistic about continuing the discussions and defining the forward's future in the coming days.
