The victim, a 12-year-old girl, was rescued by the police following a report made by the cinema employees
A 45-year-old Bolivian man was recently arrested after being discovered abusing a 12-year-old girl inside a movie theater located in a shopping center in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Liniers.
Although the incident became publicly known in the last few hours, it took place on Friday night inside the Plaza Liniers Shopping complex, located at Ramón Falcón 7100.
Around 11 p.m., while patrolling the area, officers from the Communal Investigations Division 9 of the City Police received an alert about a report of abuse and immediately headed to the shopping center.
Upon arriving at the cinema entrance, the officers spoke with employees who had witnessed the scene and pointed out the alleged aggressor, identified as V.M.S., of Bolivian origin, who at that moment was with the minor inside one of the theaters. According to the cinema employees, the abuser had been seen groping the teenager.

The police quickly entered the theater, went to the indicated location, and observed that the suspect had his pants unbuttoned, while the minor had her pants down. They immediately subdued and arrested the abuser.
According to sources, the accused knew the minor because he had a friendship with her family. That closeness was likely decisive for the girl to agree to accompany him to the cinema.
Once separated from V.M.S., the minor was supported by cinema workers, who provided emotional support. She was later placed in the care of female police personnel from the Neighborhood Police Station 9B of the City Police, who initiated the protocol for cases of sexual abuse.

In this context, line 137 was activated, and a forensic doctor was called to perform the necessary clinical evaluations. Meanwhile, a SAME ambulance transported the teenager to Santojanni Hospital, where she received appropriate medical attention.
The authorities notified the victim's family, and as part of the procedure, her underwear was seized for forensic examination. Criminal and Correctional Court No. 37, under Judge Dario Bonanno, intervened in the case and ordered the detention of the suspect.
Additionally, the magistrate ordered the seizure of his clothing and cell phone as part of the investigation. Thus, V.M.S. remained detained awaiting the progress of the judicial case.
