In recent hours, Grêmio's fans have been shaken by unexpected news. According to journalist César Cidade Dias, Paulo Dybala was offered to the Gaucho club, in what would be a total bomb for Brazilian football. The possibility was discussed amid the strong impact that Marcelo Marques is generating within the club.
However, not only was Joya approached. The names of other internationally renowned players were also put forward: Anderson Talisca (Fenerbahçe S.K.), Giovani Lo Celso (Betis), Marcus Wendel (Zenit), and Marino Hinestroza (Atlético Nacional).

Despite the initial enthusiasm, the situation doesn't seem simple. Journalist Jorge Nicola, in his blog for the R7 portal of Record, revealed that the arrival of the Argentine forward from Roma is very complicated, mainly for economic reasons.
According to the reporter, Dybala's salary is completely inaccessible for Brazilian football and added that even with the boost brought by Marcelo Marques's arrival, the numbers are still far too high for Grêmio.
According to the data shared, Dybala earns about 6.8 million reais per month at Roma (over 1.2 million euros), and he rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia where he would have earned around 13 million reais (just over 2 million euros) per month. This makes it clear how far any concrete possibility is.

For now, Grêmio doesn't rule out continuing to analyze high-profile reinforcements, but the arrival of the Argentine footballer seems more like a dream than a viable negotiation. Nevertheless, the offer makes clear the club's new positioning on the international radar, with the intention of making an important competitive leap.
