Breast reduction: the cost of Wanda Nara's surgery before the conflict with Icardi

Hours before being involved in a heated altercation with Mauro Icardi, Wanda Nara underwent surgery for a breast reduction, according to reports. Images showed her with bandages on her arms and elbows, confirming that she was in a recovery phase after the procedure.

The estimated cost of this procedure in Argentina is around three million pesos, although the price can vary depending on the clinic, the surgeon, and the complexity of the case. In some cases, the amount can be reduced to two million or increase depending on the complementary treatments included.

Breast reduction: procedure and recovery

This surgery usually lasts between two and four hours, and often requires a 24-hour hospital stay for observation. However, Wanda Nara was discharged a few hours later and was recovering at home with limited mobility, according to Guido Záffora on DDM (América).

The postoperative process ranges from five to ten days, during which it is recommended to avoid physical exertion, sleep on one's back, and use a special bra to aid healing. Depending on the type of technique used, there may be visible or minimal scars.

Wanda Nara is not the only public figure who opted for this procedure. Florencia Peña also underwent a breast reduction, in her case to relieve muscle and joint pain.

Although the exact reasons for Wanda Nara's decision were not confirmed, it is speculated that they might be related to back and neck discomfort. Nonetheless, her intention to have a peaceful recovery was interrupted by the heated argument with Mauro Icardi, which ended with SAME's attention and the medical recommendation to visit a clinic.
