Unlike what happened on September 8, the businessman from Córdoba, Lucas Salim appeared elated the day after the elections.

Back then, the head of the developer Grupo Proaco vented his anger after the legislative elections in the province of Buenos Aires.

Now, after the historic victory of La Libertad Avanza at the national level and especially in Córdoba, Salim offered an analysis in which he made his satisfaction clear.

"Once again, Córdoba set the course. The ballot boxes reflected a society that votes independently, without constraints, and once again positions the province as the beacon of a clean vote, not influenced by political clientelism", he stated.

The businessman also said that LLA's victory demonstrated that the slogans Javier Milei's government promotes are shared by the electorate.

"The clear victory of La Libertad Avanza in Córdoba expresses a concrete demand: less inefficient government, more freedom, and respect for individual effort," he added.

Salim and LLA's victory in Córdoba

Regarding the results in Córdoba, where LLA decisively defeated Provincias Unidas, Salim analyzed that these reflect the exhaustion with a type of leadership that has lasted for decades.

"Córdoba also voted in dissonance with the provincial ruling party. Although there is a historic hard core of Hacemos por Córdoba, a significant portion of the electorate showed weariness in the face of a local reality marked by insecurity, tax pressure, and an excess of regulations that stifles private initiative," he said.

"That vote was a clear signal that the people of Córdoba want a lighter government, one that supports without interfering and allows growth in freedom," he added.

Salim and the structural reforms Argentina needs

"The country is also beginning to glimpse a new political balance: with more seats for liberal forces and increasingly necessary dialogue-based alliances, the possibility opens up to embark on the era of structural reforms that Argentina needs. Tax and labor reform must stop being endless debates and become concrete instruments of development," he pointed out.

The head of Proaco added: "The drop in inflation, the reduction of country risk, and the prospect of more accessible credit are encouraging signs. If these conditions are consolidated, the country will be able to return to the path of sustained growth."

"From Grupo Proaco, we're ready to contribute workforce, innovation, and production to a country whose housing deficit has been a problem for decades. We believe that housing and credit are essential pillars for rebuilding the social and economic fabric," he continued.

Salim, optimistic about the future

Lucas Salim stated that the outlook toward 2026 and 2027 "invites cautious optimism" because it implies "less speculation, more productive investment, and more long-term confidence."

Finally, he stated that "Córdoba once again showed that when people vote freely, they vote maturely. Building a country also means daring to change".

Lucas Salim kept his promise and shaved his head

"If the redhead Diego Santilli in the province of Buenos Aires pulls off a shocker with the bald guy's face, I'll literally shave my head!!!!!" Salim wrote on X. He kept his word.
