The brutal episode of insecurity that ended with the death of Paola Lonzo, a woman in her 40s who was riding a motorcycle through Villa Madero, not only shocked the residents of La Matanza but also unleashed the outrage of the shopkeeper who, minutes earlier, had been the victim of the robbery that triggered the criminals' escape.
The butcher, owner of the shop robbed by the gang that fled in two cars and was involved in the fatal crash, expressed his strong anger and desperation over the violence that has plagued the area for years because of Kirchnerism.
“I would box Kicillof and Espinoza. These guys don't take responsibility for anything”, he told reporters, visibly upset as he referred to the Buenos Aires governor and the K mayor.

In his account, he not only exposed the daily fear experienced by local shopkeepers but also the feeling of state abandonment that, according to him, has worsened over the years. "What can you say to the girl's parents? You can't give them any explanation," he lamented as he remembered the fatal victim.
The incident occurred in recent hours at the corner of General Pinto and General Paunero, when criminals in two cars, a white Peugeot 208 and a Fiat Siena of the same color, stolen moments earlier in Tapiales, were fleeing after robbing the butcher's shop.
As they sped by, the Fiat crashed into the motorcycle carrying Paola and her companion. The woman was thrown, hit her head against a house pillar, and died instantly, while the man suffered serious fractures and was rushed to the hospital.
The criminals did not stop. After the impact, they continued their escape, although the Siena stopped a few blocks ahead. According to TN, the Peugeot 208 waited for the occupants of the first vehicle and they all escaped together.
Moved by the sequence, the butcher also expressed his anger against those responsible for the crime: “If I can catch the criminals, I'll cut them into pieces”. He added about the Kirchnerist politicians: “These guys just fool around, they don't care about the people. I have lived my whole life here in La Matanza, and they have always been here. They don't take responsibility for anything. But well, this is how things are”.

The case is under investigation by prosecutor Marcelo Diomede, from UFI No. 5 of La Matanza, who ordered forensic tests to reconstruct exactly how the crash occurred and is advancing in the search for those responsible for the robbery and murder.
Meanwhile, outrage is growing in the neighborhood: residents of Villa Madero once again demanded greater police presence and controls, denouncing that violent robberies have multiplied in recent years under the K administration.
