Carlo Ancelotti would have a preliminary agreement to take over the Brazil National Team.
The Italian coach, who won't continue at Real Madrid, would have almost everything ready to manage the Canarinha, which wants him for the June FIFA date
Carlo Ancelotti is very close to becoming the next coach of the Brazil National Team. In the last meeting between his representative and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), significant advances were made in the negotiations and his arrival could be confirmed shortly.
After Real Madrid's defeat in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona by 3-2, rumors about a possible move to Brazil gained strength again. In the last few hours, a meeting between the Italian coach's agent and CBF officials left everything on track, with only the details remaining for his arrival to be finalized.

The key points of the meeting between Ancelotti and the CBF
During the meeting, three essential aspects were addressed to seal the arrival of the Italian coach. First, the Brazilian Confederation intends for Carleto to lead the commitments of the June FIFA date for the South American Qualifiers against Ecuador away and Paraguay at home.
To achieve this, the CBF will have to negotiate with Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, to try to obtain an early release of the coach before June. The meeting between the Brazilian officials and the top merengue leader will take place between this Tuesday and Friday.

Regarding the economic aspect, that point is already solved. As far as is known so far, Ancelotti will be the highest-paid coach on the continent, above Mauricio Pochettino, the current coach of the United States. However, the possible figures have not yet been made official.
Additionally, regarding the next draft, Brazil gave Ancelotti total freedom to draft any player, regardless of their participation in the Club World Cup.
The other candidates for the position
If Ancelotti's arrival is not finalized, Brazil has other coaches on the list who could fill the vacancy left by Dorival Junior. Among the possible names are Jorge Jesus (Al-Hilal), Abel Ferreira (Palmeiras), and Felipe Luís (Flamengo). However, all of them are tied to teams playing in the Club World Cup, so it would be difficult to take them away from their clubs.

Another coach who is on the radar of the Verdeamarelha, although with less weight, is André Jardine, from América de México. The Brazilian is one of the best coaches in CONCACAF and has already been in charge of his country's U-20 and U-23 teams, where he won a gold medal in Tokyo 2020. However, he could face the same problem as the other candidates, as the Mexican club could enter the world tournament at the last minute.
