Carlos Tevez analyzed the current situation of Boca Juniors and praised the new gems of the team

Boca Juniors is going through a recovery period and is starting to regain the hope of competing for titles again. The return of Rodolfo Arruabarrena to the bench and the emergence of young players like Tomás Aranda and Leonel Flores have changed the team's landscape, which is looking to become a protagonist once more.

In this context, Carlos Tevez, one of the great idols in the recent history of Xeneize, analyzed the club's present and referred to both the new cycle of the coach and the growth of the youth players.

Tevez supported Arruabarrena's return

Tevez knows Arruabarrena firsthand, as he was coached by Vasco during his previous stint at Boca. Therefore, he particularly highlighted his knowledge of the club and its environment.

“Vasco knows very well how the Boca world operates. He had a very good time when I was a player too. It’s something he manages perfectly; the truth is that I wish him the best in this new cycle,” said the former forward.

For Tevez, one of the coach's main virtues is related to his ability to give the team freedom and allow it to find its rhythm.

“The strength of Vasco as a coach is letting the team flow so it can become stronger. I think he is a coach who knows very well what he has to do,” he explained.

The Apache also focused on the young players who have started to gain prominence in the squad. For the former footballer, the emergence of Aranda and Flores represents a decisive factor for Boca's change.

“I see Boca in a stage of growth. I think the kids are giving it a lot of energy. They are new kids and it’s not normal for them to be in this fullness; it’s a fresh air that does Boca a lot of good,” he stated.

Among the names that generate the most excitement are Tomás Aranda and Leonel Flores, who have begun to establish themselves in the team and brought freshness during a time of reconstruction.

Tevez also expressed particular happiness for the influence he still has among the new generations. Flores even celebrated one of his goals against Recoleta with a celebration similar to the traditional dance of the Apache.

“It makes me very happy that someone can copy that little dance and also that they want to mention me. One feels happy,” he acknowledged.

Regarding the performance of both youth players, he added: “Both Flores and Aranda are kids who are just starting but they are doing very well at Boca.”
