Carmen Barbieri returns to TV: how El Nueve's schedule turned out

Carmen Barbieri returns to the small screen with a new show on El Nueve. Her debut will be on Monday, May 26 at 3:30 pm, with a cycle that will mark key changes in the channel's schedule.

The arrival of Con Carmen forces a restructuring of the channel's afternoons. The new programming, according to the specialized account @forofms, will be as follows:

• 1:30 pm - Los Profesionales de Siempre
• 3:30 pm - Con Carmen
• 5:00 pm - Escuela de Cocina
• 7:00 pm - Telenueve Central

Additionally, journalist Pablo Montagna shared the first promo of the show, where Carmen Barbieri is seen accompanied by the message "coming soon."

An anticipated return

After the abrupt end of Mañanísima on El Trece, Barbieri made her return to TV official with a two-year contract with El Nueve.

In a conversation with Calabró 107.9, the host said: "I just signed with Canal 9! I worked there when I was very young...".

Why didn't she accept before?

At the time, she was offered to host Todas las Tardes, after Karin Cohen's departure. But as she explained, "the financial aspect didn't convince me".

After a new proposal, she accepted the challenge and signed the contract that will link her to the channel for the next two years.

What will Carmen Barbieri's new show be like?

The cycle will be called Con Carmen, although the title could change. The only sure thing is that her name will be a central part of the branding.

The set design is already underway, and the production is working on defining details such as the color and general aesthetics of the studio.
