Inter Miami officially presented Casemiro as one of its new signings, and the Brazilian midfielder did not hide his excitement about starting a new chapter alongside Lionel Messi. The Brazilian's arrival at the American club came after his departure from Manchester United and his participation in the 2026 World Cup with the Brazilian national team. In recent hours, Messi also returned to training with Inter Miami after enjoying a few days of rest in Rosario following the World Cup final.

During that period, Casemiro wore the Real Madrid jersey, while Messi was the main figure for Barcelona. The former Real Madrid player also recalled his numerous encounters against the Argentine and admitted the difficulties he faced in containing him when they were rivals.
