Cazzu revealed the terrible threat that Nodal allegedly made against her daughter

The Argentine artist reported legal obstacles to traveling with her daughter and revealed the conflict she has with her ex

Julieta Cazzucheli, artistically known as Cazzu, broke her silence regarding the legal dispute she is having with her ex-partner, Mexican singer Christian Nodal, concerning the upbringing of their daughter.

In an interview given to the podcast Se regalan dudas, the artist revealed the difficulties she faces in being able to leave the country with the child and reported a situation that left her "paralyzed with anguish".

"I'm living a paradox," the trap artist explained. "I have an album that's doing well, a book that's doing well, people say beautiful things to me on the street... but I'm a single mother. That breaks me in half," she began.

During the interview, Cazzu recounted a particular situation she experienced during a legal mediation session, in which her lawyer, a mediator, and Nodal's lawyer, who also serves as his representative, participated. There, the artist requested formal permission to travel with her daughter as part of her professional commitments.

The response she received left her speechless. "His lawyer said: 'Don't worry, my client is fully aware that, whenever he wants, he can revoke that permission,'" Cazzu recounted with a trembling voice. "I still feel in my chest what I felt that day. A deathly silence fell," she said.

She then expressed how she interpreted that moment.  "That man looked me in the eyes and, without saying anything, told me: 'We have control over you and your daughter.' It was one of the worst moments of my life," she confessed.

The artist also described the daily impact of this legal conflict on her life as a mother and as a worker. "When I arrive at the airport and they ask me why the father doesn't agree with me leaving the country, at that moment 'la Jefa' doesn't exist, Cazzu doesn't exist. At that moment, I'm a number, just another woman subjected to a system that turns me into a suspect," she pointed out.

For more than a year, Cazzu hasn't been able to obtain the permission that would allow her to take her daughter with her when she travels for work, despite working in the same industry as her ex-partner and having the means and conditions to do so.
