
CGT strike: which transportation services are disrupted this April 9 and 10
Trains, subways, and flights won't operate due to the CGT strike
This Wednesday, April 9 and Thursday, April 10 there will be a strike called by the CGT, which will affect several transport services.
The general strike will last a total of 36 hours. It includes a demonstration and the complete stoppage of trains, subways, flights, and freight transport.

When does the CGT strike start?
The demonstration begins on Wednesday, April 9 at noon. During that day, public transport will operate normally.
The total stoppage of services is scheduled for Thursday, April 10. A significant impact on mobility is expected that day.

Will there be buses on April 10?
The UTA joined the protest, but due to a mandatory conciliation, buses can't stop until Friday, April 11.
Therefore, buses in CABA and Greater Buenos Aires will operate normally during the CGT strike.

Subways and trains
On Thursday, April 10, all subway and premetro lines will be completely paralyzed in CABA.
Additionally, the unions La Fraternidad and Unión Ferroviaria confirmed that trains in AMBA and the interior will not operate either.

Flights canceled
The air traffic controllers union confirmed its adherence to the strike on April 10.
APLA, APA, and UPSA are also joining. This could lead to flight cancellations and rescheduling. Passengers are advised to check with airlines before heading to airports.

Ports without activity
The 12 unions of Fempinra confirmed their participation in the strike. This will affect operations in the ports of Buenos Aires, La Plata, Bahía Blanca, and Rosario.
