Chechu Bonelli and Darío Cvitanich separated after 14 years of relationship
The host and the former player ended their relationship on good terms, prioritizing their daughters
Chechu Bonelli and Darío Cvitanich confirmed their separation after fourteen years as a couple, three daughters together, and a life shared between moves, professional projects, and a relationship far from scandal. The news surprised the media world, which had always perceived them as a solid and reserved couple.
The person who broke the news was Juan Etchegoyen in his column for Infobae en Vivo, after contacting the former footballer. Cvitanich, currently an ESPN panelist, replied calmly and directly: "There's not much to say. Everything was quite good within the logical things of a separation."

A story that began in 2011 and spanned the world
The love story between Bonelli and Cvitanich began in September 2011. He was playing for Boca Juniors and she was taking her first steps as a sports journalist. After a message from the forward, Chechu hesitated but eventually accepted the invitation. In less than a year, the relationship became solid: they moved to Amsterdam when Darío returned to Ajax, thus beginning a life as a couple that took them through the Netherlands, France, Mexico, and the United States.
Their first daughter, Lupe, was born in 2013. A year later, they sealed their commitment with a wedding in San Nicolás. In December 2015, during their time in Pachuca, they welcomed Carmela, their second daughter. In 2022, during their last period in Miami, Amelia was born.
In 2017, they returned to Argentina, where Cvitanich rejoined local football and Chechu took on new challenges in television, including her participation in Bailando por un sueño. In recent years, both have developed careers linked to the media: he as a players' agent and commentator, she as a host on ESPN.

Rumors of crisis and a separation without scandals
The first signs of crisis began to circulate in May, when the panel of LAM (América) addressed the topic. According to Pepe Ochoa, the wear was progressive. "She is still very much in love, he not so much. That's why he left the house," he stated.
The information indicated that Darío had left the home a month earlier and that neighbors noticed his absence. The couple's children began to be picked up by other people, altering the usual family dynamic. When questioned by the media, Bonelli chose to remain silent.
In conversation with Etchegoyen, Cvitanich was emphatic: there were no third parties involved. "Absolutely none of that happened here," he assured. He also spoke affectionately about the mother of his daughters: "She is a great woman and mother. That will not change."
Today, the couple is going through their separation without scandals or public fights. They maintain a relationship based on mutual respect and the well-being of their daughters, far from the media noise they always avoided. An intimate decision, made on good terms, that closes a significant chapter in their lives.
