The interview with Eugenia "la China" Suárez in the La Pasión series, premiered on the TV Pública YouTube channel, not only caused buzz for her personal statements but also for a strong rumor: that she had allegedly received a significant sum in dollars for granting the interview.

There, the actress spoke openly about her relationship with Mauro Icardi and revealed that, although she doesn't rule out getting married, she has no intention of becoming a mother "for now." The intimate conversation with journalist Gustavo Méndez showed a more mature and serene side of Suárez.

An intimate interview that made waves

During the chat, la China confessed to feeling deeply in love with the footballer and assured that she had never experienced such a connection. "I would totally grow old next to this person," she stated with total conviction.

When asked about the possibility of becoming a mother again, she was blunt: "There are many of us. Three is a lot. I like to dedicate time to them and be alert. I'm not saying 'never again,' but today it's not on my mind."

She also referred to her relationship with Icardi, saying that it is based on humor, understanding, and an uncommon emotional connection. "I had never experienced having everything in one person. Now everything is better if I'm with him, and he feels the same," she highlighted.

When the journalist asked her about a possible marriage, Suárez didn't close the door: "Hopefully someday... I don't rule it out. I no longer have that thing of denying it." However, she avoided confirming whether there was a formal proposal. "We're going very calmly. Everything is happening naturally," she explained.

TV Pública emphatically denied an alleged payment

Shortly after the video was published, rumors circulated that Suárez had received 15,000 dollars for her participation. The controversy quickly grew on social media.

In response to these rumors, TV Pública issued an official statement from its X (formerly Twitter) account. "TVP emphatically denies, as false and unfounded, the rumors about a payment for the actress and singer to grant the interview," they clarified.

Additionally, the text highlighted that the channel doesn't usually pay or charge for interviews. "We consider this practice to be at odds with journalistic ethics," the message emphasized.

It was also made clear that the interview was arranged "transparently, according to the criteria of opportunity and the guest's availability." This way, the channel sought to close the controversy and defend the integrity of the series and the production team.

The interview left much to discuss. Among personal confessions, laughter, and a firm defense of her privacy, la China Suárez was once again at the center of the scene. This time, with a love story in which she seems to have found peace and complicity. And without payment, according to TV Pública.
