“Just don’t fall behind on your tax payments because they’ll seize everything from you, you fool... What a shame. Poor our Argentina,” she wrote alongside an emoji of the Argentine flag.
The post referred to the recently released videos, where significant amounts of dollars are seen wrapped in transparent plastic bags.
According to various reconstructions, the material was reportedly recorded in a dressing room located on the upper floor of Martín Insaurralde's home.
The images show bundles of dollars stored inside transparent bags. Following the circulation of the videos, various figures from the entertainment industry expressed their opinions on the content.
The host stated that she was a victim of an illegal maneuver through which third parties accessed personal files. She also claimed that for over a year she has been facing extortion attempts.
As she explained, the breach of her files and the threats related to the dissemination of the material were reported to the authorities before the case became public.
In her statement, Jesica Cirio also questioned the authenticity of the released videos.
The host asserted that the material shows cuts and digital manipulations. She indicated that the images correspond to different sequences that may have been altered.
Additionally, she defended the origin of her wealth and noted that she has been working in the private sector since she was 18. In that regard, she stated that all her income has been declared to the relevant tax authorities.
